Strangely released on April 1st of all days, these two variants of adidas’ timeless street soccer sneakers rock more than just new colorways. They’re the first Samba OGs with a mesh textile upper, making them even lighter and more comfortable. The mesh variant comes in either light brown with white accents or white with faded red accents.

We’ve seen some unusual shoes thanks largely to the art collective MSCHF. But artist Canyaon has them beat in terms of variety and creativity. His Instagram page is packed with wild and impractical shoe designs, including ride-on off-road sneakers, steel welder’s boots, BBQ shoes that hold hot dogs and spatulas, and cocktail-dispensing winter boots.

Skate shoes are always a safe bet for sneakers that can take a beating. Now we have that durability to go with the comfort and fit of a knit upper, thanks to Vans and skater Anthony “AVE” Van Engelen.
